The Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs provides, on behalf of the university provost, proactive support to the Division of Academic Affairs and the greater university community in the areas of curriculum, learning assessment, planning, and a variety of academic projects. In fulfilling this mission, office staff are committed to creating a positive atmosphere emphasizing timely, professional, and personable services.
New Director for Curriculum and Assessment
Dr. Paula Serra will be CMU’s next Director for Curriculum and Assessment, beginning work on July 15, 2009. Dr. Serra has extensive experience in accreditation, assessment, and curriculum at four universities and colleges. Her Ph.D. is in Educational Psychology with a specialty in Measurement and Evaluation from Michigan State University. Most recently she has been the Assessment Coordinator for Professional Education at CMU.
