ORSP Vita

If you are applying for funding through the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, you have the option of easily creating a vita to accompany your proposal. Simply login to OFIS and select the ORSP Vita option from the dropdown menu under Rapid Reports. Be certain to specify the appropriate date range (5 years for FRCE) and file format (Microsoft Word allows you to edit so that you meet any page limitation requirements) before running the report. In addition, if you are applying for an NSF or NIH grant, included in OFIS are Biographical Sketch reports to support your proposal. Simply enter information about the grant, select either NSF or NIH as the  Sponsoring Organization, and ensure that the Current Status is not set to Funded.* When you run either the NSF Biographical Sketch or NIH Biographical Sketch (whichever is appropriate), you will find your information has been formatted to meet the requirements of the funding agency.

*If the status is indicated as Funded, you will receive an error message when the Biographical Sketch is run.
